Ghayyoor Obaid Syed

Principal Architect

Educated at the National College of Arts (NCA) during a period that saw Lahore's architectural scene thrive under the mentorship of prominent architects such as Nayyar Ali Dada and Kamil Khan Mumtaz. After graduating in 1981, Ghayyoor embarked on an extensive journey that took him to countries like Sri Lanka, the Soviet Union, and West Germany. These travels deeply influenced his architectural perspective. Upon his return to Lahore, he joined Shaukat Nawaz Raja's practice before establishing his own in 1986.

Khurram Ghayyoor Syed

Khurram combines a detail-oriented design sensibility with practical experience across a wide range of architectural projects. Educated at Beaconhouse National University after returning from Vancouver, he began his career at S.R.D.W, where he spent four years managing complex client work before joining Ghayyoor Obaid Architects. He was awarded a gold medal and the Mehdi Ali Mirza Award for academic excellence.

Faraz Ghayyoor Syed

Faraz brings a global perspective to his architectural work, shaped by his early education in Canada, professional experience in Dubai with DPA Architects, and academic training at Beaconhouse National University. He returned to Lahore to join Ghayyoor Obaid Architects in 2016, and earned both a gold medal and the Mehdi Ali Mirza Award at graduation.
